Isaiah 54:1-5

One of the most beautiful experiences on earth is giving life to a human being.

Isaiah came into the hopelessness and said .......

#1. “Sing a song of joy.”

Isaiah 54:1(a) (NIV) “Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy…”

They were conditioned for destruction.

“I have heard from the Lord, ‘Sing a song of joy.’”

Psalm 28:7 (NIV) “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.”

“Why didn’t you pursue that challenge?”

The blessing is going to come.

"These things I have spoken unto you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

#2. “Work it out.”

Isaiah 54:2(a) (NIV) “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide…”

Once you have a song in your heart, then put your mind to work.

Enlarge the tent.

Open the curtain.

There must be that moment when we hear the Word of the Lord.

“You have acted like a barren woman, and you have been mesmerized by defeat. Now, plan the process for the blessing.”

“Make the preparations for the future.”

It's about expanding our hearts, our minds, and our spirits to receive all that God has for us.

God's call to us is not one of stagnation, but of growth.

#3. “Expect a blessing.”

Isaiah 54:2(b) (NIV) “…do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”

Do you know how easy it is to give up?

“Don’t hold back.

Lengthen the cords.

Strengthen your stakes.

Get your determination involved.

“I am not giving up.”

“It’s important to receive the blessing because you will be a blessing to future generations.”

Expectation comes before the blessing.

The power of the Spirit of the Lord to accomplish the impossible.

It was only the Lord God who had the power to make the impossible possible.

Our unbelief cannot stop the faithfulness of God.

He makes the impossible possible.
