Philippians 3:7-14
An attitude is a chosen feeling or emotion about a fact or a
state of mind.
"Perhaps the greatest discovery of this century is that if you can
change your attitude, you can change your life."
He has suffered many things for his statement of faith.
"The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can
alter their lives by altering their attitude of mind."
#1. My attitude greatly determines my success.
Philippians 3:7 (NIV) “But whatever was to my profit, I now
consider loss for the sake of Christ.”
All these issues are part of life.
Philippians 4:6 (NIV) "Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God."
#2. My attitude can turn my problems into blessings.
1
Matthew 11:28 (NIV) "' Come to Me, all you who are weary
and burdened, and I will give you rest.'"
Consensus – This is a challenge.
Critique – What went wrong?
Choice – With my will, I choose an attitude – positive or
negative.
Romans 8:28, 31 (NIV) "And we know that in all things God
works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called
according to His purpose...What, then, shall we say in response to
this? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
"Some people look at things as they are and ask, ‘Why?' I choose
to look at things as they can be and ask, ‘Why not?"
Sometimes, we are one choice away from turning a problem into a
blessing.
#3. My attitude, not my achievements, brings me happiness.
Philippians 3:14 (NIV) "I press on toward the goal to win the
prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ
Jesus."

Someone sickness.
Mistake blues.
Happiness is a state of mind in harmony with God's Spirit in your
heart.
"It's not what happiness is to me, but what happiness is in me."
1. Nothing to prove.
2. Nothing to lose.
3. Nothing to hide.
Hardening of the attitudes is the most deadly disease on the face of
this earth. - Zig Ziglar
Every opportunity has a difficulty and every difficulty has an
opportunity.
"Main Entrance."
"He's so big I can't miss."
The positive person understands that the journey is as enjoyable as
the destination.
A positive attitude is not a destination. It is a way of life.
