{podcast It Depends On What You Do}
Luke 6:27-38

It's important, because what you see is what you get.
We need to learn to speak in faith, because what you say is what you get.
The action you take.
Puts them into practice.
It's planting the seeds of faith in preparation for a great harvest.
"What you sow is what you get."
Weary in well-doing and entertaining the idea of giving up.
Now more than ever
We "forget"
We forget, we neglect, we resist.

1. Let's sow seeds of Compassion.
  • The words are compassion and empathy.
  • Compassion is the willingness to do something for the benefit of others.
  • He wants His followers to hold themselves to a higher standard.
  • Jesus calls us to love everyone, even those we might consider enemies.
2. Let's sow seeds of Mercy.
  • "I forgive you."
  • It means that with accountability comes restoration and reconciliation.
  • I will forgive you, and I will help you make this right.
3. Let's sow seeds of Generosity.
  • "Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over"
  • If you buy a container of seed from me, you get the full container — all it can possibly hold.
  • Whatever you give will also be given to you.
  • Now more than ever God's people need to be sowing seeds that lead to a bountiful harvest of all that is good.
  • Kindness multiplies kindness.
  • Mercy multiplies mercy.
  • Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
  • That's the time to sow one more seed.
  • It matters what you do.
  • God's people must move forward in faith.
