{podcast Gods Plan For Our Successful Life}

Titus 3:1-14
Jer. 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
"He can take his team and beat yours, and then he can take your team and beat his."
But it doesn’t work that way in life.
It is your job to be the coach of your life.
It’s a longtime process, and it’s ever-changing, based on your situations and circumstances.
We’re all leaders and we’re all followers in various areas of our lives.
God participates in the process.
Your game plan is your game plan.

DO GOOD.
  • You can’t look at a win/loss record or a profit and loss statement to determine the level of success a person has achieved.
  • Success is determined by the level of positive influence we have on those around us.
  • You can’t determine success based solely on quantity, or based on outward appearances.
  • But the more important question is how much good are we doing in the things that matter for all eternity?
  • (v. 8) And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.
  • (v. 8) These are excellent and profitable for everyone.
  • (v. 1) Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to whatever is good.
  • We always need to be prepared for the opportunity to do good in someone’s life.
  • (v. 14) Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.
1. Your money.
2. Your time.
  • I encourage you to add one more good item to your schedule and remove one item that’s less than productive.
3. Your words.
  • (v. 1-2) ... be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate and to show true humility to all men.
  • When we realize how much damage we can do with our words, we will begin to understand how much good we can do with our words.
  • The blueprint is something you will develop, with God’s direction.
  • We measure doing good by how our actions benefit others.
  • This is how we win it: by doing good at every opportunity.
