Listen to the Message

Hosea 10:12

"I would really like to help you but my hands are tied. I wish I could do more, but my hands are tied."

We find ourselves in many different situations and circumstances in which we are powerless to do more.

We serve a God whose hands are never tied.

Isaiah 48:13

God's hand represents His power - 2 Chronicles 20:6

Also His protection - Isaiah 41:10 and 49:16

And His provision - Psalm 145:16

Which of these do you not need?

We need the hand of God at work in our lives

"God I need Your power, Your protection, and Your provision - as well as Your presence - every day of my life."

“Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭‬ ‭NIV‬‬

1. SURRENDER
  • Fallow ground - Tillable - though as of yet untilled - ground
  • We all might have areas of fallow ground in our lives.
  • You cannot experience the fullness of God if your life is marked by unplowed, unprepared areas in our lives.
  • I'm talking about turning our backs on sinful areas in our life.
  • "God I fully submit this area of my life to You."
2. OBEDIENCE
  • Often we make the mistake of thinking that being righteous just involves not sinning.
  • Doing good for others is a step in the process of seekin God.
  • Matthew 25:40
  • 12 .... real the fruit of unfailing love.
3. PERSISTANCE
  • vs 12 Msg
  • Dig in the God - keep seeking the Lord - until He arrives.
  • But I would rather have Jesus than silver and gold.
  • Psalm 123:2 NASB
  • 12 .... showers righteousness on you.
